An international conference on the Development & Management of stem cells is organized by Naresuan University Bangkok on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the university. The annual conference will be held from November 30th,2015 to December 2nd 2015. The goal of the academic conference will be to fill any gaps in the transformation of stem cell science and its application in regenerative medicine. In Thailand, there

are currently over 100 organizations dealing with cell biology and stem cell research which offer promising research related to Biology, science and stem cells. At Naresuan University, there are Centers of Excellence in many fields, including the Center of Excellence for Medical Biotechnology (CEMB) where an effective research team on development, regeneration, and stem cell biology takes an interdisciplinary approach to understanding the fundamental question of how a single cell ultimately produce complex fully patterned adult organisms, as well as the related question of how adult structures regenerate.

There are still many challenges in this vibrant research field, including ethical questions relating to raw materials and clinical trials which in turn affect the ability to transfer research results into stem cell approved therapies.

The special lectures from our distinguished keynote speakers will review recent research and scientific breakthroughs in cell biology, technology, applications and healthcare management, cell plasticity and cancer therapies. The conference will be a great platform for researchers to share their current findings and the scientific break out sessions will focus on the latest and exciting innovations in all areas of stem cell research. The goal is to educate the attendees from different research backgrounds and provide a platform for the discussions between academia and private healthcare businesses in Thailand.
